It progresses like an RPG game however, if you take the pacifist route, you are not going to be leveling up! The combat is unique as you can avoid the enemies attack and you do not have to attack them, but rather you can end the fight by talking things out or doing a number of things to avoid combat. The game play is rather fun and a challenge. She soon finds out the world beyond the ruins is fraught with danger and a lot of potential new friends and allies as she tries to navigate puzzles and homicidal robots on her way to the castle where there may be a way for her to escape. The child is quickly saved by once of these monsters from a very evil looking flower and wishes for the child to remain in the ruins with her, but the child wishes to try and escape back to her world. The story has a young child falling into some caverns that are home to strange creatures. There are some really bizarre things going on and from what I hear, the genocidal route is even more crazy! I played through being a true pacifist. The game is very humorous, challenging and quite fun as it is sort of a throwback to a SNES game and there is even a portion that pays homage to the balcony scene in FFVI. Well, it become available on the Playstation Network so I bought it and played through it and enjoyed it very much. I had heard about this game from different people and various websites touting the fun to be had by playing it.
